Ich genieße den Riesentisch auf unserem Balkon. Leider gibt es kein Bordnetz. Die vodafone-SIM-Karte, die wir uns über https://prepaid-global.de besorgt haben, läuft gut, wenn wir mal 3G-Netz haben.
I enjoyed to have a giant table on our balcony. Unfortunately we had no onboard network. The vodafone-SIM-Card which I bought through https://prepaid-global.de was working well, suject you had a 3G-signal.Only Cosmote had a much more better availability between the islands. So Bruno prefered to book the day passes through our German carrier T-Mobile.
Nur Cosmote ist noch viel besser zwischen den Inseln verfügbar. Deswegen nutzt Bruno dann auch die Tagespässe von Telekom Deutschland stattdessen.

Das ist doch mal wieder blöd... ich kann noch nicht immer alles bestellen, weil nun mehrere Hauptgänge zusagen...Ja, ja... die Zeiten sind vorbei, als es noch den Espresso und den Cappucino nach dem Essen kostenlos gab...
Well... the times were gone when Espresso and Cappucino after the dinner was free of charge...Then on ZAANDAM last year... So we had to pay for the work in front of Giglio obviously... Standard coffee and tea you still get complimentary.
Damals noch auf der ZAANDAM vor einem Jahr... So müssen wir wohl die Aktionen vor Giglio mitfinanzieren... Den normalen Kaffee und Tee gibt es immer noch kostenlos.
We made a "blind" deposit. No matter what should happen the remainer of the cruise. We would accept everything. As long as it is Holland America. But now it was not anymore 100.00 USD for all cruises but varies to the lenght of the cruise. But who made any deposit need only to pay the lower deposit and once you book you pay the difference to the suitable deposit only. They were good for four years and fully refundable.
Wir haben direkt eine "blinde" Anzahlung geleistet. Egal, was noch kommen sollte. Nehmen wir alles in Kauf. Hauptsache Holland America. Allerdings ist die jetzt nicht mehr einheitlich 100,00 USD, sondern hängt von der Länge der Kreuzfahrt ab. Nur wer bereits angezahlt hat, zahlt immer die niedrigere Anzahlung und muss lediglich dann die Differenz bei Buchung noch zahlen. Sie gelten für vier Jahre und werden zurückerstattet.Irgendwie haben wir alle möglichen Nadeln mit, aber keine von HAL. Vincent beschafft uns neue. Und die Blumen für unseren Smoking werden geliefert...
We had so many different pins with us but none from HAL. Vincent got us some new one. And the flowers for our tuxedo were delivered...Hmmm... Folks - they had the nicest flower arrangements onboard and then you get such thing... How nice was it in GRAND PRINCESS...
Hmmm... Mensch - die haben so tolle Blumen an Bord und dann so etwas... Wie schön war es damals auf der GRAND PRINCESS...Da ich ja irgendwie von Stubenküken nicht satt geworden bin, gehe ich mal zur Royal Dutch Tea Time. Bruno hat keine Lust.
I was not full because as it was only a poussin so I went to the Royal Dutch Tea Time. Bruno did not like to go.
Endlich mal ein Gurken-Sandwich... gibt es ja nicht mal bei den Gesellschaften mit englischen Wurzeln... Aber die leckeren Wurstbrötchen (Saucijcenbroodje...). Und ich hatte meine Tupperdose wieder vergessen...
Finally a cucumber-sandwich... you even did not have them with lines with English roots... But most of all the yummy Saussage rolls (Sucijcenbroodje...). And I forgot my tupperware box again...Main issue: Vol au vent (in German the Queen's pie - since they have a King and no more a Queen in the Netherlands I truly hope that they will not make any changes.)
Hauptsache: Königin Pastete (hoffentlich wird sie nicht abgeschafft, da ja die Niederlande nun keine Königin mehr sondern einen König haben...). Auf Süßes habe ich keine Lust... nur zum Fotografieren...
I did not like to have any sweets... but just to take pictures... Royal Dutch High Tea is always an unique event.
Royal Dutch High Tea ist immer ein tolles Ereignis.
