Gegen 10.45 Uhr erreichen wir das Museum für Kriegsrelikte.
Around 10.45 hrs we reached the War Remnants Museum.Anyhow I am not a big friend of weapons and war. But that all was too much Vietnamese points of view.
Ich bin eh kein besonderer Freund von Waffen und Kriegen. Aber das ganze war mir zu vietnamesisch angehaucht.Es ist im Gebäude des ehemaligen US Information Service untergebracht.
It was located in the building of the former US Information Service.
You need to stay much longer here but as we wanted to have lunch, see a wholesaler market and return to the ship around 14.00 hrs we need to head forward. For a visit at such place you need to be prepared better to evaluate all the statements.
Hier muss man sich länger aufhalten, aber da wir noch Mittagessen, auf einem Großmarkt gucken und gegen 14.00 Uhr zurückfahren wollen, wollen wir weiter. Für so einen Besuch muss man sich einfach vorher auch vorbereiten, um die Aussagen besser bewerten zu können.Im Innenhof dürfen nur die Kleinbusse warten. Es hat also schon Vorteile, wenn man eine kleine Gruppe hat.
In the inner court only mini-buses were allowed to wait. It had many advantages to have a small group.The banks looked like a donation.
Die Bänke sind wohl gespendet.Danach geht es zum Palast der Wiedervereinigung, aber das schloß bereits als wir ankamen. Letzter Einlass war nämlich 11.00 Uhr und dann erst wieder um 13.00 Uhr. So viel zum Thema: wir hätten ja alles gesehen...
Then we headed for the Reunification Hall but we arrived they closed. Last admission was 11.00 hrs and then 13.00 hrs again. Just as comment that we saw everything we wanted to see...

And there you see the Main Post Office build in during the era of the French colony. There was not enough time to see around inside.
