Als wir ankommen, wacht die Stadt gerade auf.
When we arrived the city was just waking up.
Here they build the new cruise terminal at the former Kai-Tak-Airport... Then when you flew a curve before touch-down and on the way you collect the laundry from the tall residence buildings.
Hier wird am neuen Kreuzfahrtterminal am alten Flughafen Kai-Tak gebaut... Ach damals noch, als man in einer Kurve den Flughafen anfliegen musste, und unterwegs die Wäsche zwischen den Hochhäusern mitgenommen hat.Auch Elko und Tanja sind draußen, um die Einfahrt zu sehen.

The Star Ferry, the most famous ferry worldwide, which connects Hongkong with Kowloon.Left is the cruise terminal. Just connected to the Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel. I stayed there once. From my room I could see the ships. But this time it was too expensive. Right to the front you find the Star Ferry Terminal. In front you have the clock tower of the former station of the Kowloon-Canton (Guangzhou) Railways. Just adjustent the world-famous Hotel The Peninsula - well-known from James Bond 007... green Rolly-Royce... Our hotel was just in opposite in the shadow of the tower of The Peninsula.
Links ist schon das Cruise Terminal. Direkt daran schließt sich das Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel an. Da hatte ich schon mal gewohnt. Vom Zimmer aus konnte ich die Schiffe sehen. Aber dieses Mal war es zu teuer. Rechts vorne ist das Terminal von Star Ferry. Davor steht der Bahnhofsturm vom ehemaligen Bahnhof Kowloon nach Guangzhou (Kanton). Direkt gegenüber befindet sich das weltbekannte Hotel The Peninsula - bekannt aus James Bond 007... grüne Rolls-Royce... Unser Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber im Schatten des Hochhauses von The Peninsula.Dort ist das Ocean Terminal. Es ist Bestandteil der Harbour City. Ein großer Shopping-, Büro-, Restaurant-, Hotel-Komplex.

Dort findet also die Abfertigung der ausschiffenden Gäste statt.
There is the handling area for the debarking guests.Well... Limosines can directly come to the this place. Same like taxis.
Aha... Limosinen können also direkt hierher fahren. Taxen auch.
