Weiter ging es in das Kloster Paleokastritsa.
We headed to the Monastry of Paleokastritsa.Here we had some explanations but we were unable to read them.
Hier standen ein paar Erläuterungen, aber man konnte so nichts lesen. Was nice.
War nett.Zurück nach Korfu-City. Leider ist der Hügel oberhalb des Hafens komplett verbaut. Eine freie Sicht auf die Schiffe haben wir nicht gefunden. So lassen wir uns in die Altstadt bringen. Eigentlich wollte Niko für heute Schluss machen. Als wir ihm erklären, dass das Schiff, das gerade reinkommt ein deutschsprachiges Schiff ist, will er doch noch eine Tour machen und uns los werden. Für das nächste Mal merken wir uns, dass Europcar sich direkt gegenüber vom Eingang zum Hafen befindet.
Back to Corfu-City. Unfortunately the hill next to the port was unaccessible due to the buildings. An unobstructed view to the ship we could not find. So we let him take us to the Old Town. Originally Niko planned to quit for the afternoon. But when we explained that the ship which just arrived is a German ship he wanted to offer another tour and wanted to release us as quickly as possible. For the next time remember that Europcar was just adjustant to the port gate.So we were released at Mitropolis Square. The ride a little more expensive because we need more than 2 hours.
Wir wurden kurzerhand an dem Platz Mitropolis rausgesetzt. Die Fahrt hat dann etwas mehr gekostet, weil sie auch länger als 2 Stunden gedauert hat.Hier haben einen Blick auf die neue Festung.und das Venezianische Tor.
Here we had a view to the new fortress and the Venetian Gate.The only with a free shuttle was ORIANA. Unfortunately they checked the ship cards. And P&O always collected them when we debarked the ship... So no chance to use their service as you will never have an old card.
Die einzigen, die einen Shuttle zur Verfügung stellen ist die ORIANA. Leider werden die Bordkarten geprüft. Und P&O hat sie bislang immer am Ende der Fahrt eingesammelt... Also mal eine mitbringen, um das zu nutzen ist wohl nicht.Wir gehen mal ein paar Schritte in die Altstadt.

Und sofort drehen wir uns um, und beschließen sie heute nicht mehr für uns zu entdecken. 4 Schiffe...Bzw. das 5., das gerade reinkommt: die ARTANIA, die wir sehr gut vom Mitropolis Platz fotografieren können. Sie muss zunächst mit Tenderbooten die Passagiere an Land setzen.
